HOLY MOTHER N CHILD

One of my favs.. I was so attracted by the color combination the design had specified..The face of the holy mother looked so beautiful ,I could not wait any longer to start stitching it!!Lots of metallic threads have been used to stitch the oval frame around the main design.Adorns a similar dark blue colourd wall of my house!Frame used is metallic antique!

Mini's kitchenette wall decor

I have adorned one of the walls of my kitchenette with this design on which my name has been cross stitched on off white Aida .. The alphabets are done in a blue and white checked pattern..A green and white checked cloth and a red ribbon adorns a pot of jam..A white, green n red striped kitchen towel,a few baby tomatoes,a red kettle,a pepper shaker etc can also be seen in this EMS design

A cushion on which i hv cross stitched a sunflower.. It adorns a large sofa in my sitting room..Woolen yarns have been used here.

Lady Birds On A Doily

A doily on which I have cross stitched lady birds crawling about and one resting on the foliage of a plant..Stitched about 10 years ago!!

The Little Match Girl

For a change this is design that does not contain any cross stitches..But a few other stitches have been used.. The design is that of a fairytale, "The Little Match Girl"..It is a chilly winter night with snow fall !..The little girl is trying to keep herself warm by igniting the match sticks she has in her bag ..Stitched about 20 years ago!! Still in very good condition

Luscious Strawberries N Honey bees

This is a brownish red place mat on which i have stitched luscious red strawberries, with a few honey bees buzzing around!! Two sets were stitched and have been used as borders for the mat on either side!! Stitched about 3 years ago..I plan to make some jam pot covers and napkin rings using the same design,soon.
