RED ROSE QUILTED TOTE BAG

Its a brownish red cotton fabric tote quilted using cotton batting after applying light interfacing in the front and back .. The lining has been reinforced using strong interfacing and is of the same quality japanese cotton fabric in a shaded beige colour, matching the printed center panel of the front and the back piece..

Back side having a pocket

The interior having pockets on either side , a zippered pocket,an elastic ring for holding a water bottle or umbrella, and a key bunch holder.
A matching draw string bag ..Cotton batting and light interfacing are used to sandwich the outer and inner fabric.

WINE RED SILK N BROCADE PARTY DRAW STRING BAG

Its been a while since I blogged about anything!! ..While my tote bag making craze is going on in full swing, my daughter asked me to sew an evening party bag for her since she will have to attend a wedding reception that would be held at night.. I had some wine red pure silk and brocade with me and thought something in that combination would suit her wine red silk skirt n blouse, she will be wearing for the occassion.I made two draw string bags with the fabric, one for a close friend's daughter who is also of my daughter's age..The interior is made of brocade and has enough room to carry a few things like a powder compact, lipstick,blusher and a hair brush.. Ideal for young ladies to carry gracefully during an evening party ..Could as well be hung on the arm while chating and giggling in their friends' company!..
